The sales, which are held twice a year, feature maternity clothes, children’s clothing sizes newborn to 16, furniture, toys, and books.
The next public sale will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. March 16 and 8 to 11 a.m. March 17 at the Goodwill Fire Company, 2318 S. Queen St., in York Township.
This is WeeUsables first venture into York, but the Lancaster events have grown from an original group of 60 consignors in 2005 to 400 with a waiting list of 100 to 150 under the direction of Lori Hartman.
Hartman says the consignor list is currently closed for this sale, but since WeeUsables received such a positive response here in York, a fall sale has already been planned for York.
It will be held Oct. 26 and 27 at the York Learning Center (former Central York High School). The space they are renting will be 14,000 square feet, which is more than four times as large as the space they secured for the first York-area sale.
“That means more consignor spots,” says Hartman.
