Boutique Week kicked off last night with Yala Bamboo clothing at Kimman’s, a colorful Glass Bead and Jewelry Trunk Show at The Watchmaker’s Daughter and a coffee drink topped with edible pearls from Green Bean Roasting Co.
But, the real fun started around 7 p.m. at Flair Fashions when ladies caught wind that Harrisburg-based makeup artist Carmina Cristina was applying all of her products on any lady who wanted to try a new look. Cristina, who is from Romania, has been selling makeup for ten years, but has offered her services in the United States for three years.
Cristina said she loves working in York County, because “this service is so needed here.” She sells a full line of original products, ranging from light-weight foundation to lip gloss infused with diamond dust. All of her products are manufactured in New York City.
If you missed Cristina last night, don’t worry. She will be applying makeup and selling her products at Flair Fashions from 4 to 7 p.m. tonight and tomorrow.
Cristina gave a full makeover to Meghan Stiles, who came with her sister and local fashion blogger Melissa Stiles. Check out her before and after photos below.
