Jenny McCarthy looked hot at the 40th Anniversary American Music Awards last Sunday. From her Elvis-inspired victory roll, form-fitting top and the gold shimmer Dolce & Gabbana maxi skirt, she rocked the red carpet. We even loved her matching glasses when she introduced Justin Bieber (and attacked him with kisses!).
Other stars that shined:
Who does Amy Heidemann’s hair?! It looks fabulous — all the time. She’s often seen wearing it in a suicide roll, an over-stated twist above her forehead. (Watch this video to learn how to do a suicide roll.)
The braided creation she wore at the 40th Anniversary American Music Awards is a masterpiece I’m sure Pinterest will try to figure out. It elongates her face beautifully, and looks fantastically funky.
Honestly, I’m thinking of taking this photograph to my salon tomorrow and seeing how this could translate with my hair.
I often accuse Taylor Swift of playing it safe on the red carpet. She always looks nice and modest, but never pulls out a really remarkable look. I secretly want her to wear something from Nicki Minaj’s closet — just once. While her look at the AMA’s wasn’t exactly a fashion break-out, it’s a step in the right direction. The short cut shows off those long legs, while the pops of shimmer paired with the transparent sleeves have the perfect combination of feminine class.
Didn’t get it:
Willow Smith is adorable — don’t get me wrong — and I’m all for her fashion-forward outfits. BUT, has she been whipping her arm back and forth? Because it looks like she wore a cast to the American Music Awards. Also, rumor has it that the outfit is a Mother of London knock-off.
