Educators take to fun stunts to motivate students, show their ‘human’ side

From time to time, I hear about principals and teachers doing some crazy things to motivate their kids.

Kids might get to duct tape a teacher to the wall or turn an educator into a human ice cream sundae as a reward for participating in a fundraiser or meeting some academic challenge.

Don Gillett, principal at Wrightsville Elementary School, is no stranger to doing fun things for his kids. Head over to the Cram Session blog to read about what he’s done to show kids his “human side” and find a story about his latest promise.

What have you seen educators do to get their students motivated?
