How I Pinch a Penny: Save money on water at Disney

Last May, my family took a magical trip to Walt Disney World.

There were seven of us on this trip, and I was looking for every way to pinch pennies. I knew that it was going to be hot on the trip and we would want to be drinking water while we were in the park.

We could have taken our own refillable water bottles and called it a day but after research I found the water in Orlando tastes terrible! This information was quoted in multiple sources that were saying how bad it was and to drink bottled water.

So it looked like bottled water was going to be our option.

I looked up how much it would cost us to buy a bottle of water in the park. Hold your breath: $2.50 for a 20-ounce bottle. OUCH! That was not going to work for my budget.

So my penny-pinching mind started to turn and think how we were going to get around this high price.

Then, it hit me: Water delivery.

No, I am not joking.

I had water delivered to our hotel room at the All-Star Movie Resort on Disney property. I did the math and it works out. I knew Staples delivered products and turns out they deliver water!
