The Susquehanna Ale Trail will host its Passport Event beginning next weekend.
Now in its second year, the event has doubled in size since last spring to include 13 breweries and one distillery in York, Lancaster, Dauphin and Franklin counties.
“The Susquehanna Ale Trail gives visitors a chance to go behind the scenes to meet brewmasters, ask questions, taste new craft beers and enjoy the experience with other enthusiasts,” Anne Druck, president of the York County Convention & Visitors Bureau said in a release.
The Passport Event will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Fridays, 12 to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 12 to 4 p.m. Sundays April 12-14 and 19-21.
For a full list of participating locations, check out the Passport Event website.
Passport holders will get brewery tours, three to five craft beer tastings, a 10 percent discount on merchandise and an Ale Trail mug.
Passports are $15 and available online or at participating establishments. Designated driver passports are also available for $5.
Comment below with your favorite beer from participating breweries by noon April 10. Two winners will be drawn at random from all the entries received, and announced on the Smart Facebook page. Each winner will receive two Susquehanna Ale Trail Passport Event tickets, a prize valued at $30.
