Fifth annual Go Green in the City festival set for Saturday

Go downtown Saturday and learn how to go green!

Celebrate healthy, eco-friendly living at the Go Green in the City festival, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in downtown York.

This free event features more than 35 vendors showcasing their environmentally-conscious products and services along North Beaver Street to an anticipated crowd of 1,000 people. Enjoy live music, a drum circle and green-themed festivities appropriate for the whole family.

Participating shops and restaurants, such as The Watchmaker’s Daughter and Esaan Thai Restaurant, will offer specials and promotions throughout the day. Additionally, visit the Downtown Inc. booth to enter for a chance to win a vendor gift basket in one of three door prize drawings taking place at 11:50, 12:50 and 1:50 p.m.

A full list of participants is available here.
